A New Disc & A New Website

August 11, 2009 - Howdy everyone, How's it going? Just wanted to send out a message to go along with the new look and keep you all updated on the happenens within the Moontucky camp.

As mentioned you can check out the new tunes on our MySpace, Facebook and ReverbNation pages; or the player on our website. We will also have all four of the new songs available for download very soon on i-Tunes and Amazon; keep checking back. And if you are old fashioned and enjoy buying an actual physical CD, we will have those available at our shows in a nifty eco-friendly sleeve. (or email us and we will look into shipping one to you)

We are currently working on getting a few shows on the calendar so keep checking back; we will post those dates once they are confirmed. We are looking forward to getting back to a more fluent schedule and entertaining a few people here and there. Can't wait to see you all there.

July 17, 2009 - What's happening all. We hope everyone's having a good summer, and can't wait to see you at a show soon. We've got a couple updates for you that we're very excited to announce.

First off, San Diego's own 102.1 KPRI FM has selected one of our tunes to air on their Homegrown Hour, a spot dedicated to broadcasting local music. The show will air this Saturday (7/18) from 9pm - 10pm (PST). For those of you not in San Diego, visit http://www.kprifm.com/pages/main to hear the live streaming of the broadcast. If you're unable to catch the airing, we will be hosting an MP3 of the show in the next week or so.

We'd also like to invite you all to the Bitter End next Wednesday (7/22), for another dose of live MTR. For those that haven't been, this venue has one of San Diego's better vibes, with an underground lounge kind of feel. This show is sponsored by ListenLocalSD.com, so there's no cover.

And our final piece of good news, our new EP is finally finished. Visit any of our web links to hear the tracks. We will have the EP available for purchase within the next week-ish, so keep an eye out.

May 22, 2009 - Howdy all, as always.... it's been a while. Wanted to gets some news out and let you all know that we haven't fallen off the face of the planet. Just last night we finalized the tracking of the next EP and have begun the grueling task of editing, compressing and tweaking for endless amounts of hours to come. Also we want to direct everyone's attention to our next gig at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach on June 21, opening for Jimmy Herring; which promises to be an awesome show.

More Gigs, More Recording and More Groovin

January 31, 2009 - Thirty-one days into the new year and already we have played two great gigs with some exceptional bands. We want to thank everyone who came out to the Brick by Brick last night, we had an awesome time playing for you all and hope you had a great time listening, dancing and drinkin. Our next show is at the 710 Beach Club in Pacific Beach on Wednesday, February 11. I know... it's a Wednesday, obviously a week night, a school night, but here is the thing; we are supposed to go on at 9:30 and play about a 45 minute set. This would get you home in bed with enough time to get a full nights sleep. And to also incentivize this invite a bit more, if you talk to us before hand and say you wanna go, we will give you a ticket, for free!

January 2, 2009 - Happy New Year! Here we are at the beginning of another year and I sit back and wonder what we'll have to do to top this past year. We had an awesome 2008 and hope all of you share the same sentiments. It is in our hopes that we all build upon what we have begun and make 2009 even better. Our first show of the year will be Thursday, January 8 at Canes Bar and Grill on Mission Beach. Tickets are only 6 bucks and that is for four bands on a great stage. We will be opening for the evening and will be going on at 7:00; so no work night excuses, you can still be home early enough to get your beauty sleep. We would like to also thank all of those that came out to O'Connells in November to see us and Sweet Tooth; it was a great evening with an awesome vibe and a lot of beer! We look forward to doing it again. Well... From all of us to all of you, have a great and prosperous 2009!
